Join us on October 9th 2024, 5:30-7pm, for a special panel discussion as part of the DesignPhiladelphia Festival, presented by Collab, the design champions of the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Panelists Alex Gilliam (Tiny WPA), Cherice Gordon (Girls Inc.), and Michael Spain, Assoc. AIA, NOMA will discuss the importance of integrating multidisciplinary design into K-12 education. Moderated by Dr. Lakita Costner of The School District of Philadelphia, the panel will explore how early exposure to fields like architecture, industrial design, and digital media can empower students for success in a rapidly evolving world. Gain practical tools and insights for fostering creativity, equity, and access to design education, and help inspire the next generation of creative leaders. The event is at the Center for Architecture/DesignPhiladelphia.
